Speakers:

  • Nick D’Urbano will present some of the young entrepreneur funding available in Quebec.
  • Nicolas Dang and Travis Chalmers will present the final draft of the constitution and plan for membership fees, as well as implementation of a more formal structure to facilitate reaching our goals.
  • Please bring your cheque book as we will be setting up a formal membership structure at this meeting, with membership fees as discussed over the past few months.

The next meeting of the Montreal Junto will be held on Wednesday, August 18, at Charly’s house.

Charles will be presenting.

Meeting June 28, 2010

The next meeting of the Montreal Junto will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010 at the same location as last month. Send me or Nick an email if you did not receive the invitation!

Here is a quick agenda for the upcoming meeting, which will be presided over by Nicolas D’Urbano:

  • Selected Questions from Ben Franklin’s original Junto
  • Presentation by Nicolas on Quantum Physics (entanglement, cats in boxes and tunnelling?)
  • Review of your comments on the draft guidelines for the Junto presented at the May meeting

Update: It looks like Charles will be unavailable on June 30th. This means that the meeting will either be held at a new location or that the date of the June meeting will be moved. Check back here for updates.

The Montreal Junto’s next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Members, please contact me for location and time.

I will be giving a short presentation on legal business entities and the differences between them, following which the first draft of the constitution of the Montreal Junto will be tabled for discussion.
